1. Service Agreement
By booking our cleaning services, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions.
All services are carried out in accordance with a pre-agreed checklist, which defines the scope of work for each visit.
Cleaners will complete as many tasks as reasonably possible within the allocated time. Where time does not permit completion of all items, tasks will be prioritised accordingly.
Any requests outside of the agreed checklist must be arranged with the company in advance.
Cleaners are not authorised to carry out additional tasks, extend time on-site, or vary the agreed scope without prior approval.
2. Non-Solicitation / No Poaching of Cleaners
Clients agree not to directly or indirectly solicit, employ, or engage any cleaner, subcontractor, or employee introduced by D Cleaning Solutions Ltd for private or independent work outside of our company.
This applies during the period services are provided and for six (6) months following termination of services.
This includes (but is not limited to):

Offering private or cash-in-hand work

Engaging cleaners independently or via another business

Encouraging cleaners to leave our company
In the event of a breach, the company reserves the right to charge a reasonable compensation fee to cover recruitment, training, administration, and loss of business:

£1,000 per cleaner (domestic / holiday let services)

£1,500 per cleaner (commercial / contract services)
3. Time Allocation & Visit Limits
Each visit is scheduled with a maximum time allocation, based on the agreed service.
Cleaning is time-based, not task-guaranteed.
If the condition of the property requires additional time beyond what has been booked, this will need to be arranged separately.
4. Payment Terms
Invoices are issued electronically following completion of services or at agreed intervals, depending on the type of service provided.
Payment terms are as follows, unless otherwise agreed in writing:

Domestic cleaning services: Payment due within 7 days of invoice

Holiday let / short-term rental cleans: Payment due on a fortnightly basis

Commercial / contract cleaning services: Invoiced monthly in arrears, with payment due within 7 days of invoice
We reserve the right to amend payment terms where necessary and will communicate any changes in advance.
Where invoices remain unpaid after the agreed due date, we reserve the right to apply late payment charges as follows:

For invoices up to £199.99:
A fixed administration fee of £8 -
For invoices between £200 and £499.99:
A late fee of 5% of the outstanding balance -
For invoices of £500 and above:
A late fee of 4% of the outstanding balance
In addition, we reserve the right to charge statutory interest and compensation in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998, where applicable.
Late payment charges may be applied at our discretion.

5. End of Tenancy & One-Off Deep Cleans
For end of tenancy cleans and one-off deep cleaning services, the following terms apply:

A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking to secure the appointment. This deposit is non-refundable, except where cancellation is made with sufficient notice at our discretion

The remaining balance must be paid in full by close of business on the day of the clean, unless otherwise agreed in writing
Full client contact details are required prior to booking, including:

Full name

Service address
-
Valid telephone number

Email address
We reserve the right to decline or cancel bookings where sufficient contact details are not provided.
Due to the nature of these services, clients may not be present at the property or may relocate following completion. As such, failure to make payment by the agreed time may result in:

Late payment charges in accordance with Section 4

Refusal of future services
-
Recovery action where necessary
The deposit secures the scheduled time, resources, and staff allocation. Late cancellations or changes may result in loss of the deposit.
6. Cancellations, Access & Parking
A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required for cancellations.
Failure to provide adequate notice, or failure to provide access to the property, may result in the full service fee being charged.
Cleaners will wait up to 15 minutes for access. If access is not granted within this time, the visit will be treated as a missed appointment.
Where parking charges apply, these must be covered by the client.
7. Pet Policy
Clients must ensure pets are secured prior to the cleaner’s arrival.
We accept no responsibility for pets that escape or behave unpredictably during the service.
8. Health & Safety
For safety reasons, cleaners will not:

Use ladders beyond a two-step stool
-
Move heavy items (typically over 9kg)
-
Operate unfamiliar or unsafe equipment
We reserve the right to refuse or stop work where the environment is deemed unsafe.
9. Biohazard & Specialist Cleaning
We do not clean biohazard materials, including (but not limited to):
-
Human or animal waste
-
Blood or bodily fluids
Unless explicitly agreed in advance as part of a specialist service.
10. Liability & Condition Reporting
We are not liable for damage or loss unless caused by proven negligence.
To ensure transparency, photographs or short videos may be taken before and/or after service for internal documentation and dispute resolution.

Media will not include identifiable individuals or sensitive personal items unless permission is given

Copies may be requested by either party

Files should be retained for a minimum of 14 days
Failure to follow this process may affect the resolution of any disputes regarding property condition.
11. Privacy & Data Protection
We handle all personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

12. Pricing & Rate Reviews
We reserve the right to review and adjust our pricing periodically to reflect changes in operating costs, service requirements, and market conditions.
Where applicable, clients will be given reasonable notice of any changes to their agreed rates.
Continued use of our services following such notice will be deemed acceptance of the updated pricing.
13. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time.
The latest version will always be available on our website.
